John Franich Jewellers offer tax-free shopping, allowing you to take the time to select or custom make the perfect piece of jewellery and collect from Auckland International Airport before departure.

Tax-free shopping is currently available for purchases of $2,000 or more when you have a confirmed flight booking. 

We require at least 3 working days’ notice to deliver your tax-free shopping to the airport. 

This service is complimentary if you are departing from Auckland International Airport.

CAN TAX FREE WORK FOR YOU?

Goods must be for:

• Personal use
• Or be a gift under NZD$700 value
• The purchaser must be the person travelling (the passenger)
• Goods must be collected when DEPARTING New Zealand
• Please check the customs allowances of your destination to confirm any entry limitations or requirements

You may be charged GST on re-entry to New Zealand if the item is not for your personal use or if it is a gift over NZ $700.

TAX FREE RETURNS & REFUNDS
Tax free purchases are not eligible for return.
Online tax free purchases are excluded from our online change of mind refund policy.

HOW TAX FREE WORKS
Visit John Franich Jewellers or shop online at https://jfj.co.nz. When your purchase value is $2300 (including GST) or over you will be eligible for the tax free collection option. Let us know your international travel details and pay the tax-free price.This service is free for collections from Auckland.

With confirmed payment and flight details we will provide you with your collection authorisation and arrange delivery of your jewellery to Auckland Airport ready for you to collect once you have checked in. 

We require at least 3 working days to deliver your tax-free purchase to the airport so we recommend completing your purchase early.  If your flight is within 3 working day's contact us and we shall confirm availability of this service based on your specific order and flight details.

 Information required when purchasing in store or after you enter payment details online:

• First and last name of passenger
• Address of passenger
• Contact number (prefer mobile) of passenger
• Email Address
• Passport number or Drivers Licence
• Nationality (as shown on passport)
• Gender (as shown on passport)
• Country of residence
• Flight number
• Flight departure date
• Flight time
• Strata Number (if applicable)
• Tour (if applicable)

COLLECTING YOUR ITEM

Present your collection authorisation together with your passport to the Collection Point, located after security and customs, up to 90 minutes before your flight.

You MUST collect your purchase before you DEPART New Zealand.
