Store Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at an independent jeweller known for providing high quality jewellery to the market for over 40 years.

We are looking for real people – our customers are fantastic and loyal with good strong kiwi values, and we are looking for the right person who can find solutions for  them, whilst motivating and leading the team, operations and sales.

You need to be a fantastic communicator – someone who understands and lives the JFJ Vision and Mission, as well as has a high proficiency in sales etiquette, and blends it with customer service and common sense.

You must be a New Zealand resident with the relevant skill set to match your CV and references.  

If you have a sense of humour, organisational skills, sales ability, grit and determination to succeed, then this job is for you. You will also be a quick learner who loves to motivate and inspire themselves and the team to achieve targets and success.

Working with the JFJ curated collection as well as international jewellery brands within a stylish environment with  fabulous customers are a guarantee for the successful person.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years specialty retail store management experience and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • KPI management  - identify opportunities and implement solutions
  • Leadership Skills – a hands on leader that inspires a team
  • Recruitment, Training & Development of a sales team
  • Motivate & Coach staff – ensuring your staff are the best
  • Lead a  team to achieve Sales Budgets – create a winning sales team
  • Alignment with JFJ Vision, Mission and Values.
  • Visual Merchandising experience – know how to draw customers into the store
  • Be a New Zealand resident.
