Welcome to John Franich Jewellers (JFJ), a trusted name in New Zealand's jewellery market since the 1970s. Our journey began when John Franich himself started as a craftsman jeweller, creating unique and bespoke pieces for customers. For over 40 years, we have grown as a business and a brand, consistently upholding our commitment to quality and personal service.

We not only sell branded jewellery collections from around the world, we also provide in-store custom design and jewellery manufacturing services.

Family owned and operated, at JFJ our close knit and talented team is on a mission to offer a high quality, modern yet affordable jewellery.

The custom design service and craftsmanship manufacturing capability at JFJ mean that we can be responsive to specific client needs, including our ability to hand pick your perfect diamond.

We also stock local New Zealand brands, as well as the founding jewellery of John Franich. The manufacturing offering ranges from repairs to personalised ring design and jewellery remodelling. Centred upon master jeweller John Franich and his jewellery manufacturing background, the JFJ store has emerged as a strong local brand with an emphasis on customer service and supplying a quality product.

Our reputation has been further cemented by our success in winning the Best New Retailer Category at the Westfield Retailer Excellence Awards 2010 as well as the Best Fashion, Footwear and Accessories Category at the 2010 TOP SHOP© Awards. In 2017 JFJ was the National Winner of the TopShop customer Experience Award.

The name Franich is synonymous with West Auckland, the family having settled here in 1893.

John Franich Jewellers traded as a sole operator for 17 years on Henderson’s main street. In 2009 they accepted the opportunity to expand and relocate to Westfield WestCity and then across to their current location, in The Northwest Shopping Centre, in the ever expanding West Auckland retail zone.
