      1. Promoters
      The competition is conducted in partnership with John Franich Jewellers and other participating jewellerys by Jewellery & Gift Buying Service (ABN 63 050 055 591) trading as “Nationwide Jewellers” in Australia and “Nationwide Jewellers Ltd” (AKL 581306) in New Zealand (the "Promoters").

      2. Competition Details

      • Competition Title: Win a Trip to New York
      • Start Date: 1 May 2025
      • End Date: 31 October 2025
      • Draw Time: 11.00 am 6 November 2025
      • Draw Location: Nationwide Jewellers, 828 Pacific Highway, Gordon, NSW 2072
      • Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted by phone and email within 7 days of the draw.
      • Winner Announcement: The winner’s first initial, last name and postcode, along with the store where they purchased/entered the competition, will be published on www.nationwidejewellers.com within 7 days of the draw.
      • Unclaimed Prize Draw: a redraw will take place by the same method at 11.00 am 4 February 2026 (90 days after the draw).
      • Unclaimed Prize Draw Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted by phone and email within 7 days of the draw.
      • Unclaimed Prize Draw Winner Announcement: The winner’s first initial, last name and postcode, along with the store where they purchased/entered the competition, will be published on www.nationwidejewellers.com within 7 days of the draw.

      3. Eligibility

      • The competition is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or older.
      • Customers must make a minimum purchase of NZD$20 at a participating Nationwide Jewellers member store to be eligible to enter.
      • A maximum of three (3) entries per customer is allowed.
      • Proof of purchase (a clear image of the receipt) must be uploaded with each entry.
      • Ineligible persons: Employees of Nationwide Jewellers, participating member store staff, and their immediate family members (spouse, children, parents, or siblings) are not eligible to win.

      4. How to Enter

      • Customers must scan the in-store QR code (or follow the link provided by store staff) and complete the entry form.
      • Required personal details include: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Phone Number & Address
      • Optional personal details: Month or Date of Birth
      • Store staff may assist customers in submitting their entry or enter on their behalf.
      • Entries that do not include a valid proof of purchase (photo of the receipt issued by the participating Nationwide Jewellers member store) will be deemed invalid.

      5. Prize Details

      • Grand Prize: Two (2) return economy class flights, up to a value of A$2,500 per person , from Australia or New Zealand (international departure cities) to New York City, USA. Domestic Australian and New Zealand flights and travel are not included.
      • Five (5) nights’ accommodation up to the value of A$2,500 in a New York City hotel.
      • Airport transfers to/from the hotel in New York are included.
      • AUD $1,000 spending money (or equivalent in NZD).
      • Maximum total prize value: AUD $10,000.
      • Nationwide Jewellers will arrange all included travel bookings at its sole discretion. The winner is responsible for travel arrangements to/from the international departure point in Australia or New Zealand.
      • The winner must redeem and complete travel within 24 months from the draw date (by 6 November 2027).
      • If the winner chooses not to travel, they may instead elect to receive a $5,000 store voucher to redeem at the store where they entered the competition.

      6. Prize Conditions

      • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash (except where the voucher alternative is chosen).
      • Travel dates are subject to availability and must be booked at least 60 days in advance.
      • The winner is responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and any required travel documentation.
      • Travel insurance is not included and is the responsibility of the winner.
      • The winner is responsible for all incidental costs not specified in the prize, including but not limited to meals, transport, and activities.

      7. Draw and Winner Selection

      • The competition is a game of chance – the winner will be drawn randomly using a random number generator.
      • The winner will be contacted by phone and email provided on their entry form.
      • If the winner cannot be contacted and/or does not claim the prize within 90 days, a redraw will take place by the same method.
      • The Promoters’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

      8. Marketing Consent

      • By entering the competition, participants agree to receive marketing communications from the store at which they entered the draw.
      • Participants may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by contacting the store directly.
      • Nationwide Jewellers head office will not use personal information for marketing purposes.

      9. Privacy Policy

      • Personal information provided by entrants will be used only for the purposes described in these terms and conditions.
      • Nationwide Jewellers and participating stores will not sell or provide personal information to third parties.
      • Nationwide Jewellers head office will only use personal information for the purpose of conducting the draw.
      • The winner’s name and city may be used for promotional purposes in accordance with these terms.

      10. Liability

      • The Promoters are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participating in the competition or using the prize.
      • The Promoters are not responsible for missed flights or costs incurred for amendments to travel arrangements as a result of missed flights.
      • If the competition is disrupted for any reason beyond the Promoters’ control (e.g., pandemic, travel bans), the Promoter reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition, subject to relevant regulatory approval.

      11. Permit Details (if applicable)
      This competition will be conducted in accordance with Australian state regulations and New Zealand regulations where required. The Promoter will obtain Trade Promotion Lottery (TPL) permits for the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and South Australia (SA). Details of permits will be updated in these Terms and Conditions once confirmed.
