1. Promoter
The promoter is John Franich Jewellers Ltd, Shop 51, Northwest Shopping Centre,
Westgate, Auckland 0814, New Zealand (“Promoter”).

2. Competition Period
The competition opens at 12:01am NZDT on 1 February 2026 and closes at 11:59pm
NZDT on 15 March 2026 (“Competition Period”).
Entries received outside this period will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility
-The competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.

-Entrants must be a member of Franich Loyalty & Rewards - sign-up on the entry page

-Employees of John Franich Jewellers and their immediate families are not eligible to
enter.
-By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must during the competition period: 5 Feb - 15 March 2026

1. Must be a signed up and active member of  Franich Loyalty and Rewards - this will be checked before the draw takes place.

2. Complete the entry form here:  Franich Loyalty and Rewards - including sharing their story (a "love story" about an engagement, proposal, wedding day, anniversary event, or even a first date.

3.By entering, you agree to these competition Ts&Cs, including the sharing of your story and your first name on John Franich's public social media channels (Facebook; TikTok or Instagram); emails and website. You also opt-in to receiving marketing communications from John Franich. View our privacy policy and terms of service for more info.

4. Follow these stories on social media using the hashtag #JohnFranichWedding 

No purchase is required to enter.

5. Judging & Selection
This is a judged competition, not a game of chance.
All eligible entries will be reviewed by the Promoter based on:

  • The entrant being a member of Franich Loyalty & Rewards
  • Emotional connection and authenticity of the story (photos will help :)

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

6. Prize
The prize is a custom-made gemstone ring created by John Franich Jewellers, to the
maximum retail value of NZD $7,500.

Key prize conditions:

-The prize includes design consultation, CAD drawings for approval, gemstones to be used and precious metals as well as the manufacture and craftsmanship up to the value of $7,500.
-The final design, materials, and gemstone selection will be determined collaboratively
between the winner and John Franich Jewellers, within the prize value.
-Due to fluctuations in gold prices and gemstone availability, the final design may vary
from concept visuals or expectations.
-The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, store credit, or transferred to another
person.
Any costs the winners deems necessary for the design requirements and finished expectations that exceed the $7,500 value will be quote, agreed upon and payable by the winner prior to manufacture.

7. Custom Design & Production
The prize must be redeemed within 6 months of winner notification, unless
otherwise agreed in writing.
Production timelines will be advised at the design stage and are subject to design
complexity and material availability.
The Promoter reserves the right to decline designs that are not technically feasible or
inconsistent with its craftsmanship standards.

8. Winner Notification
The winner will be contacted via email - based on the email they supplied for the entry form - within 7 days of the competition closing.
If the winner does not respond within 10 days of contact, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

9. Use of Entries & Content
By entering, participants grant the Promoter permission to:
Repost, share, or feature submitted stories and content (including names and
images, where provided)
Use the content for marketing purposes across social media, website, email, and in-
store displays. Content around the manufacture of your gemstone ring, the consultation and final results will be created and shared on social media and other media platforms.
No additional compensation will be provided for content usage.

10. Privacy
Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering the
competition and in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy obligations under New Zealand law. By signing up to the newsletter and or Franich Loyalty and Rewards you will be opting into marketing emails and communications via media platforms. You may unsubscribe in the footer of the email at anytime, however this will not include transactional emails such as receipts and communications about your orders and points accrued in the loyalty programme.

11. General
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if
circumstances arise beyond its reasonable control.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated
with Facebook or Instagram.
Any questions regarding the competition should be directed to John Franich
Jewellers, not the social media platforms.

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

    Franich Loyalty & Rewards

    • As soon as you sign-up, you will be given 10 Rewards
    • 1 Reward = NZ$1
    • So you will immediately have $10 towards your first purchase.
    • Rewards can only be redeemed online or in-store at John Franich Jewellers
    • Rewards can be utilised once they meet the threshold of 10 Rewards - which will equal a $10 voucher towards your next purchase.
    • $10 will be added to your profile - which you can access here 
    • You will need to click the "Redeem" button so the discount is added to your cart, ready for checkout
    • This offer is only automatically applied to online purchases and not in-store purchases.
    • If you are shopping in-store, please advise the sales assistant of your expected discount against your purchase.
    • Each $10 discount voucher must be applied to a basket size of $80 or more - ie: purchases amounting to less than $80 will not get the discount applied.
    • Note: Annual voucher are capped at maximum of $100 worth of vouchers within a 12 month cycle regardless of your total spend.
    • $10 does not apply to: Customer Service articles (eg: watch straps, pen refills, polishing cloths, jewellery cleaner and Lox Earring Backs)
    • Rewards are calculated based on the item price, excluding GST and Shipping
    • Rewards are not calculated on Sale items and items on promotion, or the promotion amount applied to your cart.
