Continuing Bulova’s legacy of precision timing with heritage-inspired design, the Lunar Pilot chronograph from the Archive Series features a unique dial that reinforces our spacefaring history, and the 43.5mm silver-tone 316L stainless steel polished case, creating a dynamic presence on the wrist. Slim chronograph pushers and a crown featuring the Bulova tuning fork logo are perfectly proportioned and ideally positioned at 3 o’clock. Under the flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial is presented in a unique red and silver “panda” style, with a vibrant red inspired by the tone of the moon during a total lunar eclipse, sometimes referred to as a “blood moon.” A silver-white tachymeter ring offers contrast around the dial, which features a retro Bulova logo. The slim hands and applied markers offer high legibility and are applied with super-luminous material for low-light display. The silver-white recessed, circular grooved sub-dials include a 1/20 chronograph seconds counter at 3 o’clock, running seconds with a sweep hand at 6 o’clock, and 60-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock. Powered by our proprietary high precision quartz technology, resonating at a frequency of 262khz for unparalleled accuracy with a sweeping chronograph hand, this exceptional men’s timepiece is paired with a matching 3-link silver-tone stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp and an interchangeable black leather strap with red contrast stitching, both of which feature an easy release system for quick changes. The Lunar Pilot chronograph brings the past to the present with a design from space exploration history, perfect for the modern adventurer.

What if I don't have a ring to work off? How do I measure for a ring size?
Here's a step-by-step guide:
-
Choose the finger: Decide which finger you want to wear the ring on. Keep in mind that fingers on your dominant hand may be slightly larger.
-
Time of day: Measure your finger at the end of the day when it's likely to be at its largest due to factors like temperature and activity.
-
Tools needed: You'll need a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string, a marker and a ruler.
-
Measure diameter: Wrap the measuring tape or string around the base of the finger where the ring will sit. Make sure it's snug but not too tight. Mark the point where the string or tape meets, then straighten it out and measure the length in millimetres from the end to the mark. This measurement is the diameter.
-
Measure circumference: Alternatively, if you have a ring that currently fits the finger well, you can measure the inside diameter of the ring and convert it to circumference. Divide the diameter by 3.14 (π) to get the circumference.
-
Check sizing chart: Once you have your measurement, compare it to a ring sizing chart. These charts usually have measurements in both millimetres and corresponding ring sizes. Keep in mind that different countries may use slightly different sizing systems.
-
Consider width: If you're choosing a wider ring, you might want to go up a half or full size for comfort.
-
Get a professional measurement: If you're unsure about measuring at home or if you're between sizes, it's a good idea to visit a jeweller who can provide an accurate measurement.
